Welcome to The Leadership Challenge® Workshop Pre-Work, a web-based leadership development tool created by James M. Kouzes and Barry Z. Posner as part of The Leadership Challenge suite of programs, products, and services proven to cultivate and liberate the leadership potential in every person, at every level in any organization. This online application (in addition to the LPI 360) is designed to prepare participants for attending The Leadership Challenge® Workshop.
Who is TLCW Pre-Work for?
Ideal for use by individual consultants, training and human resource professionals, as well as educators this web-based system provides a simple, efficient, and streamlined way to distribute, track, and collect workshop participant responses - helping to ensure a successful workshop for each participating leader.
How is TLCW Pre-Work used?
Similar to the LPI Online process, administrators can purchase tokens, create Pre-Work assignments, and establish due dates. After registering and logging in to the secure LPI Online site, participants may easily complete the following pre-work assignments:
- Characteristics of an Admired Leader (CAL) survey
- My Personal Best Leadership Experience worksheet
- My Current Leadership Challenge worksheet
- What I Want to Accomplish worksheet
Upon completion, participants are able to print a report in PDF format that includes their responses to the three worksheets which they bring along to the Workshop. Administrators may also request the same PDF report if they would like to have a back-up copy available for the workshop. Administrators may also generate a group report with the Characteristics of an Admired Leader (CAL) data and the graphic created is ready to insert into their Leadership Challenge® Workshop slide deck.

How much does the TLCW Pre-Work cost?
One (1) TLCW Pre-Work token is $20.00 and includes access to one (1) TLCW Pre-Work assignment (to be completed by a single Leader). This token is valid for up to 12 months and will expire one year after the date of purchase.
NOTE: All TLCW Pre-Work tokens are product-specific and can be used to access only TLCW Pre-Work as designated. Tokens are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged.
