LPI SELF: a 30-item assessment instrument that provides a way for individual Leaders to measure the frequency of their own specific leadership behaviors on a 10-point frequency scale.
LPI OBSERVER: a 30-item assessment instrument that provides 360-degree feedback on the frequency of specific leadership behaviors on a 10-point frequency scale, completed by 7-10 people selected by the Leader to participate in the process.
While the LPI Self provides for self-measurement, the LPI Observer collects valuable 360-degree feedback from bosses, co-workers, direct reports, and others who have direct experience of the individual Leader in a leadership role.
How does the LPI 360 work?
Using the LPI Online web-based system, an LPI Administrator creates an LPI 360 assignment, establishing due dates, customizing the content with essay questions, as appropriate, and designating an individual Leader to the task of completing the assignment. Once an assignment is created, Administrators may retain responsibility for all administrative duties related to the assignment, may temporarily share some or all of the administrative responsibilities of this assignment with another administrator, or may permanently transfer all future administration of this assignment to another administrator.
Through the use of electronic tokens purchased online—either directly, from an authorized LPI Administrator or Reseller, or via an Administrator PIN number—Leaders gain access to the specific LPI 360 assignment their Administrator has created. Upon completion of the registration process and successful login to the secure LPI Online site, participants will take the LPI assessment they have been assigned, and complete any other tasks associated with their assignment (adding Observers, for example).
The LPI Self assessment is completed by the Leader, while the LPI Observer is completed by others invited to participate in this process by the Leader. Observers typically include managers, direct reports, co-workers, or others with direct experience of the individual in a leadership role. Each assessment contains 30 statements describing specific leadership behaviors, rated on a 1 to 10 point frequency scale, and takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.

How much does the LPI 360 cost?
One (1) LPI 360 token is $135.00 and includes access to one (1) LPI Self assessment (to be completed by the Leader) and unlimited (within reason) LPI Observer assessments. This token is valid for up to 12 months and will expire one year after the date of purchase.
NOTE: All LPI tokens are product-specific and can be used to access only the LPI assessment designated. Tokens are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for another LPI assessment.
